This piece was painted in a series that expressed postpartum and pregnancy. It depicts a head resting on the shoulders of a partner. This piece was inspired by the postpartum period and the support my husband provided post birth. I wanted the audience to have a sense of support from the piece and the hope that they too, have a shoulder they can rest their head, “anytime they need.”
