This work uses a mythological animal/demon as the focus. There’s such great strength & fascinating character in animal faces. Applying the idea that we often apply good or bad qualities to animals I’ve placed a drawing of the Minotaur against a soft pastel background. The work has a slightly confusing feel because we usually connect fear, horror & rage with the Minotaur. Here we see the Minotaur in a more gentle setting which suggests there’s more to understand about this subject.
I intend to develop this subject further & hope to produce more works using this image.
