Pastel on paper
Signed on the back.
While I certainly liked pears when growing up, I didn't love them. But after living in Southern Oregon - home of the largest pear orchard in the world, and tasting their amazing selection of pears, I have to say that I never have tasted such fabulous and tasty pears. The largest orchard was only 2 miles down the road from the ranch I lived on, but the Rogue Valley was graced with so many orchards. In this pastel painting the green and gold (yellow) is wonderfully portrayed. And would brighten any area, particularly the kitchen or any eating area. The perfect pairing for anyone wanting outside nature to come into their home or other area in their lives.
The image size is as stated, but there is extra paper past image size, to allow re-matting if desired.
Pastel is a messy medium, and that area is not same surface finish as with the painting. It also is very difficult to keep clean during painting, but covered with a mat, there will be no problem, nor detracxt from image as shown.
Framing is possibly available, by request, if desired - a great way to get this framed to your choice, with the assistance of helpful Bluethumb staff.
All care will be taken with shipping. No sealer has been applied. I will include information on caring for pastel paintings with this.
