The title comes from a Van Morrison song. With this painting I tried to incorporate Jackson Pollock’s signature drip and splatter technique, hoping to create a visually stimulating work of art. I have long been an admirer of Pollack’s work, which can best be described as an explosive and dynamic expression of emotion and energy. I have tried to exude a sense of controlled chaos with built-up layers of vibrant and contrasting colours that tend to dance across my canvas.
