The beautiful salmon-pink colouration of the Pink Sun Orchid (Thelymitra rubra) can be seen when the delicate flowers open fully on a sunny day in Spring . This orchid is widespread in South Australia and in other parts of south east Australia. I have rendered a flower here at 8 times life size to highlight the intriguing structure of this tiny orchid. Framed with pale natural timber behind glass that is anti-reflective and UV-protective, a perfect work for any small wall space.
