This artwork is a still life painted from life in one go (Alla Prima) it is the 94th in Julie's 100 days Project to paint one Alla Prima Still life each day for 100 days. Julie completed this project between January and May 2020, despite the challenges of the COVID 19 Pandemic. The aim of the project was to capture a small part of natures beauty daily while refining her Alla Prima skills as influenced by Richard Schmid. Sadly the exhibition they were destined for was cancelled, though they have been selling steadily I am listing them here for more people to enjoy :-)

The nature strip again provided my reference material, today in the form of Japanese Honeysuckle. I believe it is classified as a weed in Australia as it is not native. I am however very grateful for the diversity in my local nature strips.

Each one is available as a painting on clear primed linen, the finished size is designed to be 14cm x 24cm, though the linen is approximately 23x34cm to allow for stretching on canvas stretcher bars of either the narrow or deep types, or mounting in an A4 frame with mat board provided.

IMPORTANT NOTE - this work is UNFRAMED and UNSTRETCHED it is NOT ready to hang, it will need either putting in a ready made A4 frame, OR taking to a framer to be framed or stretched and made ready to hang with or without a frame to your personal choice to suit your decor. An information sheet will be included. This presentation - unframed and un-stretched is reflected in the price for these works.
