In the present day world of terrible events... there are the survivors and there is always hope.
When I began this painting I wanted it to look and feel as if it itself had been through hell and survived.
I used layers of paint to give depth and visual vividness.
There is a crackle medium added to dying paint to give the bird a look of being in a fight for life , his body scarred from the battle BUT he survived
There are many different hues and boldness of paint here.
This is definitely an eye catching piece and talking point.
My pieces are coated in quality varnish to stand the test of time.
