This large size work is part of a body of works which I have been exploring for a number of years. I love to witness the sunrise or sunset as often as possible and it really doesn't matter where you are in the world the colors are strong and vibrant especially in the late summer early autumn. Poppies have always signified strength and resilience to me. This is an emotive work and it is hoped that the viewer relates to the "inner strength" present in this composition.
