Pastel blues and greens and ochres, combined with hints of lemon and lime mark making, over a multi coloured abstract landscape featuring colours inspired by the sunset.

Part of my current series of mark making works, using a process which has become a therapy for the artist. The mark making is based on a simple shape from the banksia flower, using this shape in a repetitive pattern to obscure the layers below.
