Heart and Soul is a heavily textured abstract painting that expresses my inner journey as an artist and a human being.

With thick layers of vibrant colour applied in a way that creates a sense of depth and dimensionality, I have incorporated a composition reminiscent of the landscape, a visual commentary on the relationship and congruence of the two. My sense of place lies both within and without. The painting aims to convey a sense of harmony and balance between the inner and outer worlds, as well as a celebration of life and its beauty.
