Acrylic on stretched canvas, ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
The hills and sky are full of smoke the last few weeks, at the end of fire season when they can get some prescribed burns in. The sky has that dusty yellow tint, and sunset shows the clouds from the smoke when some are dark against the painted sky, and some lit up with light.
You can happen on pockets of smoke, lying close to the hills and trapped in a street, where the wind hasn’t carried it off yet.
