The colours of the sea and sand near Esperance WA are so pure, fresh and inviting that they just call to be painted. Seascapes are my favourite scenes - always bringing mermories of peaceful holidays & cold dips in the ocean . Makimg mermories is what life is all about. A daily reminder if hanging on a wall or maybe a dream of the next holiday.
Painted on 300gm watercolour paper with artist's quality paints. The size inside the mat window would be 50cm X 26cm and if purchased "naked" a frame of a grey tone as in the photo from your own framer, or white on a coloured wall would be more attractive than the timber colour which does nothing for the painting unless it matched your decor. A painting of mine similarto this was photographed and printed much larger on a canvas & mounted above a bed as the client wished, for a lovely atmospheric scene.
