This large collage on painted canvas has at its forefront a group of women threading worms for sale. Their yellow desk inspired a colour wash across the background, made up of hexagons and gemstones in jewel colours, but dominated by topaz and yellow quartz. Set against the green background amid an eerie silence, this composition reflects on the endlessness of worlds: the worms being threaded are an entire universe in and of themselves, as are each of the workers, and each piece of the geometric collage that surrounds them. The parts that form each collage are sound bites of our world.
