The king parrot is a colourful addition to the Samford Valley environment. This specimen was perched on a tree just outside the cafe at the top of Mt. Glorious. We are lucky to have so many wonderful, colourful birds in Australia. This is a reproduction of an original watercolour, now in a private collection in Queensland.
