After completing an earlier smaller study for this work, I enjoyed a 6 month project painting the extra sculptures that I saw at the Romanelli sculpture studio in Florence, Italy. I loved the small student sculptures juxtapositioned among the larger than life traditional Italian sculptures and the textural contrasts with the velvet green chairs. I changed the angle slightly from the study work and included the larger sculpture on the right of the canvas. NOTE: This painting can be sold unframed with an appropriate reduction in price on request. The existing frame is a modern, square-line, dark timber approximately 10cm wide.
