"Black Cockatoos" is a medium sized painting in abstract modernism style showing three Carnaby's Black Cockatoos amongst the trees and in flight. These cockatoos are native to Western Australia and prominent in the area I live in. Such a beautiful bird that is now endangered thanks to habitat degradation caused by people.

This painting serves as a reminder to appreciate our wildlife and play our part in preserving their future. I wanted to show their beauty and quirkiness through my typical abstract style, nestled amongst odd shaped trees and plants in a whimsical landscape.
