"Golden Palms" is a colourful depiction of my back garden which is full of tropical palms and other tropical plants.
This painting was completed during the dead of winter, when the days are grey and cold. I wanted to feel warm and tropical for just a moment! I chose to focus on the golden yellows that radiate off the palm leaves and juxtapose them with effervescent turquoise to create a bright, colourful piece.
Painted on a 30" x 30" canvas, this is a medium sized painting perfect for brightening up a small space.
