Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
This beautiful big bright painting was painted from one of my photos that I took when we made a brief stop at Esperance last year.
It is painted on a lovely piece of stretched linen which has been professionally stretched.
The painting is painted with many layers of acrylics then followed by layers of Oils.
Many layers of Washes and Glazes have also been used.
The rocks are put down with a palette knife.
You can just see the sun rays spreading out over the sky and ocean. They are more visible in person.
Yes it is a yellow painting however I wanted the bright sun to reflect in the Ocean and the Slick which is the Strip of water just in front of the rocks,
It was my intention to take the viewer down through the sand dunes and down to the waters edge. I like to think I have achieved this.
The sides of the canvas have also been painted.
This painting certainly took me on a journey of discovery, it took three months to paint.
It will be professionally packed.
