Spring is flowering everywhere in our neighbourhood: tree branches are heavy with pink magnolia flowers, the air filled with aromas of jasmine and wildflowers. This time of year, nature energises us, we want to put on a yellow frock and go dancing, get outside into the garden and plant a new seedling, pet a flamingo or marvel at the beauty of a galah. This work is painted on linen, using oil paints and bronze pigment for gold en highlights.
