Stomping ground by Lana Alsamir-Diamond is a part of a continuous interest in themes of closeness, a minimalist abstract that gave way to colour in a considered way.

Moons are a constant in the artist's work, the moon has so many faces, her fascination started when she used it as a constant presence in her more figurative works, and slowly became fascinated by the shape and the possibilities it offered her work, it grew from a representation of the moon to a recurring motif, that is interpreted in many ways, "I use the motif to explore closeness, relationships and energy" the artist says.
