This is a contemporary interpretation of Medusa. This whimsical painting is inspired by the often misunderstood story of Medusa who was a victim rather than a monster. Here we see Medusa with her hair tamed and she is wearing a demure button-up white shirt. Although her snakes are subtle, we can see them popping out from the side of Medusa's head.
