“Awaken the Heart” is an abstract expressionistic painting by Sydney artist Leni Kae from her new series ‘Splash’. In this series, the backgrounds (that often appear in her landscape paintings) become the foreground, and symbolise a shift in unveiling one’s the inner layers. Tones of pink and browns are splashed with layered consideration to the beauty of expressing the heart’s desires.
