Watercolour on paper
Signed on the front.
In 2017 I did an art residency in the Sahara Desert, Morocco. Here my main focus was in producing watercolour paintings that described the vastness, heat and core energy of the landscape in an abstract way. These works bear some resemblance to the works of Adolf Gottlieb, Philip Guston and Joan Miró. They have informed much of my future work and were significant for me as reference material. Therefore, I did not release them for sale until 2020, three years after they were produced.
These works come unframed, but are of a standard size, so frames can be easily purchased from a variety of stores.
