Who loves a budgie? They are an adorable Australian bird and can be seen flying in flocks in outback Queensland. Although they are naturally green and yellow, I have seen many other colours as these cute little ones depicted in my painting ‘Sweet dreams’. The pastel pinks and blue in this original artwork are soft, quiet colours to suit a restful place in your home, in particular a child’s/nursery room. This is one of my favourite paintings inspired by nature.
