Acrylic on wood, ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
I have just added this beauty to my homonym inspired series where each of two or more words having the same spelling or pronunciation but different meanings and origins. On this occasion I have depicted the harlequin clown and harlequin beetles. The composition didn't feel complete so I added the rich red columbine flowers to create this quirky image. Maybe I'll do another one with Columbine, the beautiful dancer and some columbine flowers in the future. This painting will surely be a conversation piece.
This painting is signed on the front and a laminated, numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included.
