Just An 80's Girl - I wish you were here to see this unique piece of mixed media art in person. It's tricky to take photos of artworks that are framed under glass (museum glass actually).
Speaking of frames, this deep shadow box with red wooden trim was custom made for this work to best enhance it and preserve it forever.
Painted using acrylic, watercolours and ink on heavy 300gsm watercolour paper Just An 80's Girl also wears a black french beaded lace frou frou skirt. Her amazing boot/shoes are embellished with rhinestones too. Something Madonna would have proudly worn I am sure.
I am a child born in the 60's but I partied hard in the 80's and yes, I did really wear such crazy, rainbow colours and bling (plus the big permed hairdo and shoulder pads of course).
This original work has been with me for some years now. It is hard to part with but it is time for it to find a great new home where it will be loved and adored.
Just An 80's Girl is 73cm x 45cm and the depth of the shadow box is 6cm. It is ready to hang as is.
Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is signed by Artist Lisa Frances Judd.
