Inspired by Art-therapy, I made this painting to express my feeling of being caged. However, some viewers assured me that it was painted from the position of being outside the cage. The painting turned out to be a mind teaser. Every viewer will state their position differently, depending on the mood they have at the viewing time, and the question remain; are you inside the cage? Or outside it?
It is a lovely painting reflecting only one strong colour (red) on a grey background. Therefore, it will be congruent with any contemporary home décor. Furthermore, you will have fun testing your friends’ mood every time they look at it.
