This painting is called 'SUMMER FRUIT' . It is one of the paintings from my series of Still Life paintings called 'SCENES FROM THE LARDER'. It celebrates my love of life in the country. It was inspired by an image I saw many years ago while paging through a magazine while on holiday in Italy. I recreated the Still Life in my Studio and painted from life.
