This little fairy is named after the actress Eleonor Thomlinson better known as "Demelza" the flaming red head with the voice of an angel from the tv series Poldark.
I've always been fascinated by the idea of these mystical creatures and adore fairy wrens, so don't know why it took me so long to paint these lovelies together. We are never too young or too old to believe in fairies. And during these hectic times we all need a bit of an escape so why not.
