Red Sands is an exploration of paint and texture. It captures the eye with fiery tones of ochrey yellows and brilliant vibrant reds. These masculine colours are in contrast with the softer feminine pinks and whites.
The work was made quickly and the final piece demonstrates the energy, speed and confidence with which it was created.
