This painting is a part of my Flower Power collection.,which was a movement in the 60s.
The idea behind flower Power was Love ,peace and nonviolence.
Flower Power is a phrase referred to the hippie movement of make Love not War.
Flower Power also became a term used to express the hippie culture itself and hippies were often called flower children.
Young people painted flowers on their vans also Flower Power clothing for instance featured brightly coloured flowers and swirling flower patterns on loose silhouettes.
This is a 2 canvas painting.
