My idea behind my flower Power paintings is Love and Peace .
Flower Power is a phrase referred to the hippie movement in the 60s of make Love not War.
Flower Power also became a term used to express the hippie culture itself and hippies were often called flower children.
Young people painted flowers and patterns on their vans also Flower Power clothing for instance featured brightly coloured flowers and swirling flower patterns on loose silhouettes.
