:: Winter Protea No.I ::

This is a beautiful, archival Giclée art print of a watercolour painting I made in Spring, 2017. Only 1 limited edition print will be made at this size and a small run of 50 prints at an a4 size. It is an 'artist's proof', signed AP 1/1 at the bottom.

Like many artists, I have an obsession with Proteas.  Even on the dullest of days, proteas boast spectacular displays of huge, vibrant blooms. I've painted many Proteas, but this one (and Winter Protea No.2) I decided to bring into my Florescence series because it captured the spirit of the tough yet romantic shrub.
