This artwork was inspired by a small pebble I found in a stream whilst travelling in New Zealand. The pebble was a triangular shape with a quartz line criss-crossing it evoking a browline. Using a bunch of feathers tied to a stick, I applied black ink over wet tea. I enjoy working like this as interesting effects arise with the mingling of the ink and tea. A splash of ink has escaped and hovers like a lost dream or star to the right of the head.
