This painting is part of my series called Love Poems which was inspired by social media reels of birds and animals interacting with each other and with humans, and behaving almost like humans. To reflect the playful nature of the subject I have combined abstraction with realism. The birds here are Australian fantails.
This painting has a solid wood frame and all materials are archival. It has uv varnish and a cold wax finish. Cold wax gives a soft satin appearance to the artwork which eliminates the harsh glare of a varnished surface when a painting is placed in strong light or near windows.
It comes with a signed Bluethumb Certificate of Authenticity.
