This painting was inspired by the feeding of the pelicans down on the broadwater on the Gold Coast. They are fed daily and all the pelicans congregate on the beach at the same time every day anticipating a good feed of fish. I love pelicans with their goofy good looks and funny waddle. This piece is heavily textured and has bright summer colours. Its varnished and the sides are painted so it's ready to hang.
