The north-west of Australia is one of my favourite places to photograph - there’s something so captivating about the intense red earth up there. I love the contrast in this shot - the soft dusk light highlighting the dry and rigid cliff face, inviting the eye to explore the detail and step back in time - 130 million years - to when dinosaurs walked this earth, and left their footprints preserved in the reef rocks below forever.
