Mixed Media on paper

This painting is the third in a series of three.
I begin with an abstract landscape in mind and roughly place a background down on paper.
After this has dried I imagine the topography of that landscape and zone in on smaller details with acrylic pens and Ink. Layer after layer bringing highlights and lowlights to the scene, building up to the final result.
The changing climate is on my mind alot lately. Both as a gardner and an artist.
This piece will be numbered 3 of 3 on the back.
