I saw a beautiful bunch of apples on an apple tree and I thought they looked so decorative with the branches displaying a jumbled pattern of leaves, just like a Christmas tree. In Germany, the originator of the Christmas tree, Christmas trees were adorned with apples before any baubles were developed. This painting is a mixture of apple tree and Christmas tree.

This artwork is an original piece and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The paper used is 360gsm Arches (made in France) quality archival watercolour paper with lightfast artist quality watercolour paint.
