"Blue Mountains Panorama: Afternoon Light in the Jamison Valley"' is an older painting I had prepared to take part in my 1st exhibition in Katoomba a few years back. We came across the Landslide Lookout on Cliff Drive early on in the afternoon and I fell in love with the glow on the sheer cliff face. Originally without the dark tree trunks, but I had a change of mind and thought that they would add a lovely contrast to the colours of the cliff. I used a palette knife to include them, now adding some wonderful texture.
Original painting created in June 2018, updated in January 2021. Signed on the front.
