Who hasn't fallen in love with the beauty of our coastline. From peaceful coves to hidden beaches, long sandy beaches to rugged and rocky beaches, family friendly beaches to the more challenging and surfers beaches. Some are well visited during the summer months with life guards on patrol whereas with others one might be just one of a few, usually with a notice to swim at your own risk. Whichever draws you to the beach whether for a picnic with the family and your friends, or a bit of solitude and relaxation, or for surfers looking for the perfect wave to ride, there's a beach for everyone to enjoy. My preferred choice for painting these beach scenes is artist quality Acrylics, followed by some Watercolours. Really looking forward to the coming summer months to enjoy once again feeling the warm sand underfoot and breathing in the lovely fresh sea breeze.
