'Room with a View' speaks about the covid lockdowns and how we were all trapped in our homes, feeling isolated and alone, even though right next door, other families and people were going through the exact same thing. We were all so close to each other, yet seemed so far away, drifted aimlessly, as we waited to be rescued and set free.

No rulers or tape masks are used in my paintings, every line is hand-painted. From far away the image looks like it has been made digitally, yet on closer inspection, the signs of the artist come forward- the buildup of paint, the wobble of a line.
Things like this, that in a digital image would be considered 'mistakes', become the heroes of the piece in my work, bringing the artist's heart and soul into the painting.
