Self Portrait of a recent swell we chased up at Rainbow Beach on the Sunshine Coast Australia.
This was a really special swell delivered from Cyclone Seth that travelled down our coastline, and we luckily timed it perfect doing a day mission on New Years Day & my wife grabbed this image after being exhausted but so happy and so stoked to have scored it as its a really fickle wave.
Hopefully I can capture a painting of the wave in action for everyone soon, but I love this angle of Rainbow looking at contrasting sand dunes against the green of the dunes. I have so many memories of this place with my family as I am sure a lot of people do. Thank you Rainbow and Mother Nature very special!
