This original piece of encaustic art is inspired by my love of nature. The gifts she gives, the wonderful mess she is, the peace she bestows. Within the layers of fused beeswax I have embedded cicada wings, cotton gauze, shell and paper whilst using pigments and inks to bring this beauty to life. I hope you enjoy her as much as i have creating her. She is made to last, preserved forever in wax. Please contact me with any questions.
