This expressive abstract artwork is inspired by early days of drawing and painting as a child and teenager and childhood memories. The memories of bubblegum and ice creams and fairy floss.
The pastel tones remind me of the 80s patterns I used to like.
The 1980s was a time where the rich got even wealthier, and the luxury colours were their way of flaunting their affluence. Pastels returned for a short time in the late '80s due to interior designs that featured hues of peach, turquoise, and mauve, and the famous show of Miami Vice. This used to be my favourite show on TV.
