I have only been to this beach once, and the scene has had been firmly implanted in my head. Then I saw an image with the menacing sky and instantly I knew I had to put it on canvas. I have thoroughly enjoyed painting this, as it has seen me return to using oils. A medium I haven't touched for quite a few years.
