The inspiration for this painting was about finding people who inspire you to show your true colours and not follow in the crowd or fade into the background. Here we have a woman made up of different colour, patterns, shapes, glowing through the background. She has a crown to remind everyone that we are our own ruler and shouldn't let the taint of the world dictate our lives.

Too often people who are different are considered outcasts rather than being seen for their true colours. Different is beautiful, I hope that you can also see and enjoy the beauty of this painting.

This is a mixed media painting with neon lighting. The light works with a battery operated controller which allows you to hang the painting anywhere and not have visible cables coming from the painting to plug in. The battery pack sits on the frame at the bottom of the painting. Select from a constant glow to flashing as you desire.
