Gulamon What we carry
Contemporary Aboriginal Artwork depiction of a Gulamon . This Painting, represents resourcefulness in everyday living. Gulamons , are mostly carved from trees or shaped from bark to carry organize and store what's most needed for medicine and nourishment , and caring for ourselves and others . They cradle the very young and carry , hold what's most precious.
I've used the motif ,in an abstract way to express not only what's carried in our arms ,but what's carried in our hearts and memory.
