This gorgeous painting is an off shoot to my recent artwork titled "When I Get to the Top of The Hill"
I have used similar colours in each painting. A rich palette of cherry violets, maroons, olive greens and earthy Azo gold undertones. This painting was such an achievement for me in my fluid art journey marrying abstraction and impressionism combined, to create this ethereal piece.
I can envisage this painting in a large space that is just begging for attention, perhaps above your sofa or fireplace or equally at the entry to your home or commercial space.
It is a piece that will start that conversation, a real statement artwork. I have used various fluid art techniques to create the artwork that you see here and no brush work has been used.
The eye is in the detail really. No image on a screen can capture that detail or even be appreciated until you see this artwork in person.

As the paint flows freely over the deep edge canvas there is really no need for framing unless this is your desire, and yes it would absolutely look stunning and add that extra level of sophistication.
The painting has been softly coated with layers of archival varnish to help protect it from U V rays and is ready to hang and also comes with a certificate of authenticity..

Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 16years.
My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.

My practice explores fluid art as a means of interpreting the essence of place beyond literal representation.
Inspired by the movement of coastal waters and the raw beauty of the Australian landscape, I work with colour, organic forms, layered compositions, textures and transparency to evoke the character and atmosphere of a place.

Balancing intuition with intension , I embrace the unpredictable nature of the medium while carefully guiding each work towards its own identity. For me, fluid art is more than the creation of patterns; it is a process of discovery, where movement, depth and unexpected details come together to express a feeling, a sense of place and a story of its own.

I want each work to offer more than an image- a feeling a connection, or a place the observer can return to in their imagination.

My artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia and abroad and have also been represented in many galleries across Queensland and NSW and internationally.
