Artwork Description

"Winters Edge" captures the ephemeral moment when the harshness of winter begins to thaw the icy grip of winter, which slowly releases, revealing the rugged beauty of the natural world. The earthy tones of coral and ochre which I have used evoke a sense of solidity, while the flowing wash of silky whites conjures the ethereal quality of snowmelt.
The painting's abstract, expressive language invites you to immerse yourself in the rugged melancholic beauty of this winter wonderland.
"Winters Edge' is a large artwork which is actually multi-directional, as demonstrated in images shown here, so either orientation can be adopted to suit your space. Just shoot me a message before purchase and I will accommodate your orientation preference before attaching all hardware for hanging purposes.
This eye catching artwork will look amazing in any interior decor you have in your home or commercial space with it's trending colour palette. It is dynamic in personality while still presenting a calming relaxing vibe. You could decide to have this beauty framed but as the paint runs effortlessly over the deep edge canvas there is really no need, but a light natural timber oak float frame would really elevate the piece. Your choice.
"Winter's Edge" has been lightly coated with archival varnish to help protect it from U V rays and to enhance it's colour clarity and also comes with a certificate of authenticity for your records.
Thank you for looking in on this beautiful piece of artwork and I am sure it will resonate with most of observers. You really need to see this artwork in the flesh as no image on a screen can do the detail and textures in the paint justice. A one of a kind piece that can never be replicated. Having said that though if there is an artwork that grabs your attention in my collection then don't hesitate to message me and we can chat about a suitable commission piece just for you!

Artist Bio

I push fluid art beyond the pour, beyond the patterns, beyond the expected!
Because fluid art isn't just about what the paint does. It's about what you make it say!

I am an award winning artist. Please see some of my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 16years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 6 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of coastal and hinterland landscapes on the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
My artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia and abroad and have also been represented in many galleries across Queensland and NSW and internationally.

The pour is just the beginning!
